Excited!

I am super excited today, we have beautiful weather and tomorrow we're planning a hiking trip at Deceptions Pass :) and today I got my very own, very first gun a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard, I am kind of in love with it. I am hoping to go shoot it this week and I am in the process of getting my concealed carrying license. So this girl is a very happy girl!

New Addiction's Found

I thought I would post some pictures of the beautiful place that we live in. They have been taken over the course of our 18 months here. Hope you enjoy them. In regards to my addiction, #1 you might have noticed my "pin" button at the top, PINTEREST :) The most amazing site I have ever found! I have not repeated a recipe since January 2, 2012 thanks to this little site. #2, the gym :) I will be one of those post pictures of my food people and those success story people.

It's been a LONG time!

So....I gave up facebook, yep you heard me right, I GAVE UP FACEBOOK! In doing this I have found millions of extra seconds in my day, my goal is to devote some of these seconds to my blog and to keep it updated and treat it like a journal. I sometimes wonder if anyone reads it...if you do leave me a comment or FOLLOW ME! Bare in mind I am somewhat of a novice and I will learn more interesting things as I go...back to my seconds lol More of these seconds will be devoted to my family and finding fun and exciting new things to do in our new state. We now live in Washington State, Oak Harbor to be precise, I have found my inter "hippie" and I LOVE IT here! The kid and the hubby also share my love of the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer. The dogs have also found a love in the weather and coolness of this place. We have been here a little over a year and a half and plan to retire somewhere up here (sorry for all of my family, but yes we love it here and we are going to stay) We will have to eventually go back to NC for a few years to finish out my husbands career at Cherrypoint, but until then we are Washingtonians :) I have so much to write and so little time right now, my precious seconds are slipping away and I must go cook dinner...I will leave this post with a picture of my 3 handsome, grown boys.
